Samantha Sherri Stancil (08)

Charles Waddell Memorial Scholarship:  Samantha graduated with a GPA of 3.5, and was active in Marching Band, the National Honor Society, the Student Government, and the Principal's Roundtable Member.  She was the Manager of the Tack Team, a JROTC Officer, the Captain of the Flag Team, Associate Editor of the Yearbook, a participant in Girls' State, and took simultaneous courses at PGCC while successfully completing Calculus I and II and computer programming.  Outside of school, Samantha served as an Assistant Sunday School Teacher at her church.  Samantha will be attending North Carolina Central University in the Fall.

Brittany Marie Bean (08)

General Fund Scholarship: Brittany graduated as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2008, was JROTC Vice Wing Commander, and was a member of the National Honor Society, the Advanced Art Club, the Future Business Leaders of America and the Principal's Roundtable.  Brittany will be attending Norwich University in the Fall.

Danyelle Devonne McElrath (08)

General Fund Scholarship:  Danyelle graduated with a GPA of 3.51, was on the Honor Roll, and was a member of the Kitty Hawk Air Society of JROTC, the Honor Guard.  Outside of school, Danyelle sang in her church choir and was on her Church Junior Usher Board.  Danyelle will be attending the University of Maryland in the Fall.
